A well-maintained, well-driven BMW M car can do impressive things. Add a beautiful day at the Nürburgring with light traffic, and throw in an ESS supercharger kit for who-knows-how-many extra horsepower, and miraculous things can happen.
The proof is the 7:30 lap time around the Nordschleife, despite having to pass—and sometimes slow down for—about ten cars.
Inge Hansesaetre is the driver of the supercharged E46 M3 on this amazing 7:30 lap. That’s almost a minute faster than a stock E46 M3, and Inge did it with the new speed limits imposed on certain parts of the track to keep the speeds down!
If you want to study technique, the video of the lap also has a video insert showing Inge’s footwork.
