While working on a project at Bentley Publishers, we noticed that 2002 repair information is not in BMW TIS (BMW’s subscription-based service website); TIS appears to go only as far back as the E36. So we became curious about the status of the factory 2002 repair manual.

As many of you may already know by following me on social media, I have not spent much of this summer behind the wheel of a race car—which I would prefer to be doing, of course! As a driver who has to find outside funds to do my job, the majority of my “real” job time has been spent behind a computer and telephone, reaching out to potential sponsors and continuing to build my brand.

As everyone is apparently in Monterey for Oktoberfest except me (sniff), I’ll make this one easy: I really like my daily. Folks may recall that back on Presidents Day Weekend, I bought a 2003 E39 530i stick with the sport package and 174,000 miles on it. I didn’t intend to: The car was on Craigslist.
